We all do it.

Adults breathe 12 – 20 times a minute, every minute of every day and every night, yet we give it little if any thought. We don’t have to worry about breathing because it is part of our autonomic nervous system, which functions without conscious effort and governs numerous processes including respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature.
